Our first client in March 2000 was the St Louis Sports Commission, who commissioned us to analyze the economic impact of the 2000 NCAA Wrestling Championships upon the St. Louis regional economy.
With our most recent project being Super Bowl 50 in 2016, we've completed over 80 economic impact studies, and we are the only firm which has conducted studies for 3 of the last 10 Super Bowls (2006-Detroit, 2011-North Texas).
Now in our 17th year of business, we've conducted studies for sports commissions, CVBs, city councils, professional sports teams, college athletic departments, college football bowl games, professional sports leagues, all-star events, international sporting competitions, law firms, and more. We've conducted studies associated with events from the NFL, MLB, PGA of America, NCAA, FLW Outdoors Fishing Tour, professional cycling, professional surfing, AAU, and more. We've also done feasibility studies for new facility projects.
We've also been hired to provide economic damages calculations in cases involving individual athletes or sports agents, ranging from personal injury, defamation, and loss of contract). Our most recent engagement (2015-16) involved calculating damages suffered by an NFL agent in an employment dispute. We were the damages expert in the Manny Pacquiao defamation lawsuit against Floyd Mayweather (2012).
